Located in Vergt-de-Biron between Bergerac in Dordogne and Villeneuve-sur-Lot in Lot-et-Garonne, La Bride du Cazal, an equestrian center approved by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE), offers various complete training sessions and riding courses, with qualified riding instructors and coaches.
Passing the canter tests
La Bride du Cazal supports riders in their preparation for:
- passing the gallops
- learning the basics
- to technical improvement
Supervised by qualified instructors, each rider progresses at their own pace thanks to lessons and courses adapted to their level.
Holder of a BPJEPS TE state diploma, Didier Benne ensures that he offers equestrian training sessions and provides you with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for qualifications in equestrian tourism professions, while ensuring personalized support throughout the training.

Equestrian Tourism Guide (ATE) Training
This training program allows future candidates to:
- a level IV professional qualification
ensuring he acquires the necessary skills to independently work as a riding guide (ATE) for horseback riding and trekking.
The ATE certifies the ability to organize and ensure the smooth running of horse rides on identified equestrian trail routes, in particular between marked stage relays in order to ensure the safety of riders as well as equines, while ensuring the safety of third parties and respect for the environment.
Training for Assistant Riding Instructor (AAE)
This equestrian training is a level V qualification which allows the Assistant Riding Instructor (AAE)
- to accompany the riders and
- to introduce them to different equestrian activities
under the educational responsibility of a holder of a state diploma of level IV or higher, but also excluding competitive practices of Amateur level and higher.
The Riding Assistant Instructor (AAE) is responsible for participating in the organization of riding activities, ensuring the safety of riders, visitors to the equestrian center, as well as horses and ponies.
Also, welcoming the public to equestrian facilities, including the pony club and all other equestrian tourism centers, and ensuring the promotion and animation of the riding club around different equestrian activities.
In addition, he participates in the maintenance of equestrian facilities, particularly the lunge rings and arenas, necessary for the work of the horses, and is responsible for storing equipment as well as ensuring the feeding, watering, routine care and work of the horses and ponies in his charge.

For your riding courses, Didier Benne, a state-certified BPJEPS TE instructor at the La Bride du Cazal equestrian center, will accompany you in riding courses to put your riding knowledge into practice, as well as to improve your level, including passing the galops and outdoor riding.
The riding courses cover:

They are carried out by reservation with Didier Benne with 4 to 5 hours of training per day.
The price is €70 per day, with the option of additional accommodation and meals, also upon reservation, in the immediate vicinity of the equestrian centre.
